Happy birthday to the Oscar award-winning actor, producer, director, screenwriter, philanthropist and all-around Hollywood hottie, Denzel Washington!
The "Flight" star has continued to keep our hearts ablaze with his catalog of blockbuster films and devastating good looks. And like a fine wine, he seriously only gets better with time.
Between acting on Broadway and the silver screen, Washington has also devoted considerable time and money to organizations close to his heart. He continues tosupport the Boys And Girls Club, which he credits for helping him through his youth and gifted an incredible $2.25 million to the theater department at his alma mater, Fordham University.
Even though he has said he doesn't know how to be a celebrity, we're pretty sure he's an effortless pro. So, as we wish Denzel another fabulous year of life, here's a little present for you--a slideshow of the superstar actor (and sex symbol) over the years.

Going Solo in Porn Store
EXCLUSIVE
Here's Nick Stahl's 2012 in a nutshell -- missing, found, missing, found, and now ... arrested for "touching himself" in a porno store, TMZ has learned.Law enforcement tells us, LAPD undercover vice officers were conducting a routine check of an adult store in Hollywood around 6PM -- and found Stahl alone in a private booth, watching a porno, and committing a "lewd act."
We're told the "Terminator 3" star appeared to be "touching himself" -- you can figure out the rest -- and he was booked for lewd conduct ... a misdemeanor.
Nick was cited and released from police custody a few hours later ... and as he walked out of the police station he told our camera guy it was all a "misunderstanding" (see above). Also worth noting ... no one picked Stahl up from the station ... he just kinda wandered off into the night.
As we've reported, Stahl has disappeared -- sometimes for several weeks -- multiple times this year. As of July, he had reunited with his wife and was getting treatment for substance abuse.
Kinda fun fact: We're told one of the officers who arrested Stahl, also busted Fred Willard in July for pulling a similar deal in an adult theater.

NYC Subway Slaying: Man Pushed To Death In Front Of 7 Train

NEW YORK — A mumbling woman pushed a man to his death in front of a subway train on Thursday night, the second time this month someone has been killed in such nightmarish fashion, police said.
The man, who wasn't immediately identified, was standing on the elevated platform of a 7 train in Queens at about 8 p.m. when he was shoved by the woman, who witnesses said had been following him closely and mumbling to herself, New York Police Department chief spokesman Paul Browne said. It didn't appear the man noticed her before he was shoved onto the tracks, police said.
The woman fled, and police were searching for her. She was described as Hispanic, in her 20s, heavyset and about 5-foot-5, wearing a blue, white and gray ski jacket and Nike sneakers with gray on top and red on the bottom.
It was unclear if the man and the woman knew each other or if anyone tried to help the man up before he was struck by the train and killed.
On Dec. 3, 58-year-old Ki-Suck Han was shoved in front of a train in Times Square. A photograph of him on the tracks a split second before he was killed was published on the front of the New York Post the next day, causing an uproar and debate over whether the photographer, who had been waiting for a train, should have tried to help him and whether the newspaper should have run the image. Apparently no one else tried to help up Han, either.
A homeless man, 30-year-old Naeem Davis, was charged with murder in Han's death and was ordered held without bail. He has pleaded not guilty and has said that Han was the aggressor and had attacked him first. The two men hadn't met before.
Service was suspended Thursday night on the 7 train line, which connects Manhattan and Queens, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority was using buses to shuttle riders while police investigated.
Being pushed onto the train tracks is a silent fear for many of the commuters who ride the city's subway a total of more than 5.2 million times on an average weekday, but deaths are rare. Among the more high-profile cases was the January 1999 death of aspiring screenwriter Kendra Webdale, who was shoved by a former mental patient. After that, the state Legislature passed Kendra's Law, which lets mental health authorities supervise patients who live outside institutions to make sure they are taking their medications and aren't threats to safety.

It shows the enduring popularity of the self-deprecating video that features Park Jae-sang's giddy up-style dance moves. The video has been available on YouTube since July 15, averaging more than 200 million views per month.
Justin Bieber's video for "Baby" held the previous YouTube record at more than 800 million views.
PSY wasn't just popular on YouTube, either. Earlier this month Google announced "Gangnam Style" was the second highest trending search of 2012 behind Whitney Houston, who passed away in February.
New York City Suicide Rate Will Likely Top Murder Rate For 2012
New York City Suicide Rate Will Likely Top Murder Rate For 2012
FOLLOW:
The New York City murder rate is on pace to reach its lowest point in 52 years.
According to the NYPD, as of December 12th, there were 388 murders on the year, a sizable 20 percent drop from the same time last year, when there were 493 murders.
The NYPD says that number will likely remain under 400 before the ball drops in Times Square, making it the lowest murder rate the city's seen since 1960, when 390 homicides were reported.
(For perspective, 2,245 people in New York City fell victim to homicide in 1990.)
As Gothamist points out, New York City averages about 475 suicides a year. The Department of Health and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner hasn't released exact number of suicides yet for 2012, but if it's near the average rate, there will have been more suicides than murders in New York City this year.
