Halle Berry House For Sale After Thanksgiving Brawl Between Fiance & Ex-Boyfriend

Halle Berry House For Sale After Thanksgiving Brawl Between Fiance & Ex-Boyfriend

Posted:
Halle Berry's Hollywood Hills home is reportedly on the market, and news of the quiet listing broke less than a week after her fiance Olivier Martinez beat ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry to a bloody pulp outside the home's front door.
The mansion is being quietly shopped around for $15 million in a pocket-listing, according to TMZ, and Berry has already reportedly received an $11 million offer. The Tuscan-style estate, which boasts almost 6,000 square feet of living space, also features a pool and spa, big backyard and a 1,400-square-foot guest house. Don't forget the motor court -- where Martinez and Aubry came to blows during the worst Thanksgiving dinner ever.
Lest you think Berry's trying to dump the place to get rid of bad vibes, the home was quietly being shopped around weeks before the Turkey Day brawl, notes TMZ.
A more likely reason for the sale? Berry's impending move to France, where Martinez is from. In August of this year, the "Cloud Atlas" star filed a request in family courtfor permission to move to Paris, where she claims she and daughter Nahla will be shielded from the paparazzi's prying lenses (as well as a couple of the star's violent stalkers).
Unfortunately for her, a judge blocked the move earlier this month after Aubry challenged the request.
Since the brawl, Berry has gone to court to extend a temporary restraining order against Aubry.

When they arrived, cops found a man dead inside one of the rooms.

Katt Williams
led police on a crazy chase through the streets of Sacramento on Sunday -- even driving on the wrong side of the road -- all while riding on a bizarre 3-wheeled motorcycle, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

According to law enforcement sources, cops observed Williams driving his motor tricycle on the sidewalk -- and when they attempted to pull him over, Williams took off.

We're told the chase continued for several minutes -- with Williams driving all over the place, even on the wrong side of the road.

At one point, we're told Williams took his helmet off and yelled back at the cops, saying, "I'm not going to stop!"

According to sources, police called off the chase for public safety reasons -- and now plan to ask the D.A. to charge Williams with felony evasion.

NFL players using Viagra? Bears WR Brandon Marshall says so

NFL players using Viagra? Bears WR Brandon Marshall says so

In an announcement that could send snickers and suggestions into orbit, Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall says NFL players are turning to a new source for better performance on the field: Viagra.
"It is such a competitive league, guys try anything just to get that edge," Marshall told reporters in his weekly media scrum. "I'm fortunate enough to be blessed with size and some smarts to give me my edge. But some guys, they'll do whatever they can to get an edge. I've heard of some crazy stories. I've heard (of) guys using like Viagra, seriously. Because the blood is supposedly thin, some crazy stuff. So, you know, it's kind of scary with some of these chemicals that are in some of these things, so you have to be careful."

There is an upside to using "the little blue pill" and its cousins. Apparently, the World Anti-Doping Agency hasn't banned erectile dysfunction medications. According to a New York Times article in 2008, the agency didn't find enough evidence linking the drug to enhanced athletic ability.
And apparently, major pro sports also have not banned the medication that first appeared in 1998.
Might Viagra be beneficial to athletic performance? The New York Daily News notes:
"It helps build endurance, especially for athletes who compete at high altitudes, delivers oxygen, nutrients and performance-enhancing drugs to muscles more efficiently and counteracts the impotence that can be a side-effect of testosterone injections."
What sparked this news? Marshall was asked about Adderall, an ADHD medication that hasdrawn the NFL's eyes. Marshall has Borderline Personality Disorder, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The disorder, "presents with an inability to process emotions, magnifies the fear of abandonment, and creates heightened feelings of loneliness and boredom. Those suffering from the condition are more apt to self-injure and are prone to suicidal thoughts and actions."
Learn more about the disorder from the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
There's plenty of information that should make athletes avoid using erectile dysfunction meds to boost their on-field performance. Viagra's makers have a list of them on their website.
As busy as the NFL is with Adderall suspensions — among recent suspects are Seattle Seahawks players Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman, SN's Clifton Brown notes — it will have its hands full trying to sort out players using Viagra and similar drugs for their game performance.

James Holmes Blames Therapist For Brainwashing Him To Kill, According To Inmate Steven Unruh

James Holmes Blames Therapist For Brainwashing Him To Kill, According To Inmate Steven Unruh

The Huffington Post  |  By  Posted:  Updated: 11/28/2012 8:42 pm EST
A drug-abusing inmate unleashed wild allegations about James Holmes, claiming that the suspected movie theater gunman said his therapist brainwashed him to commit murder.
Steven Unruh -- speaking exclusively to the Denver Westword -- said he had a four-hour conversation with Holmes in jail on July 20 after the graduate school dropout was brought in for allegedly killing 12 people and shooting 58 others.
Though locked in different cells, Unruh, 38, claims he heard Holmes slamming himself into the wall. By yelling across the hall, Unrush says he talked the 24-year-old out of committing suicide.
Officers with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office disputed that detainees can communicate the way Unruh described, Nevertheless, Unruh -- who was locked up on theft and drug charges -- says Holmes described the massacre to him.
"He felt like he was in a video game," Unruh said, according to the news site. The former doctoral student allegedly told Unruh that his therapist "programmed" him to carry out an attack.
There's been a steady flow of sensational tales about Holmes' behavior in the slammer. Shortly after his arrest, an unnamed jailhouse employee claimed thatHolmes frequently spat at the guards.
In another allegation, a worker said that Holmes acted like he had amnesia and didn't know why he was locked up.
