another rerun...

Yeah thats what Im all about... For instance... Whats up with the naming of our sports venues?? Selling out at its finest... "Come on son.... We're going to Monster Park to see the 9ers game!!" Him.... "There are monsters in the park?" Me... "No son.. Ya see there is this huge website called monster.com and well... just get your jacket.." We used to have places like the Astrodome, KingDome, SuperDome (Almost gone thanks to FEMA)... Candlestick Park, Riverfront, 3 Rivers stadium and so on... Now we have places like Arco Arena, Staples Center, Minute Maid park, Oracle Arena and so on. You arent going to see a ball game... You're going to get gas, office supplies, software and lemonade... WTF?? I go to see a Giants game its at ATT Park!! I pay enough for their phone service now Im paying them to see my beloved Giants? I say enough is enough... Back to the days of when a sports venue name meant something. Yankee Stadium, Comisky, Wrigley, Ebbets, the Polo Grounds (and no Ralph Lauren didnt sponsor the field), Dodger Stadium and so on. Sign the petition please...:)
