Sos Im sitting at the office (under my fave tree outside the apartment)
typing away with a big grin on my face when my neighbor walks up. "Damn D!!" he says loudly,
"whats up with you? hit the lotto
or something?" I LOL but not in the
computer sense of LOL... I really LOL.. and say "Naaaw... All my teams I
wanted to win won and the teams I wanted to lose lost." He said "yeah just like last week but
that smile is different!! Whats
up??" I said "well I was just
talking to my friend about my move to New York next month." He said "Damn! Life long bay area kid. Is she that nice?" Im like "What makes you think its a
female? I could be moving for
work!" he said laughing "Nucca
you write! You can do that anywhere!!" I laughed kind of embarrassed and not able to
contain my smile and said Yeah you're right.
Let me tell you bout her...
Shes the cats meow. Shes the birds flight.
Shes the reason the earth keeps spinning.
She's the reason for a new start.
The means to a new beginning.
Shes the warmth when its cold. The
sunshine on a rainy day.
Shes the reason birds sing, the tides rise, the laughter in kids play.
She's the reason the sun rises, the sun sets, the reason the moon glows
bright at night.
Her presence makes the blind man see, the deaf man hear, removes darkness
and restores light.
Shes the... He interrupts me "Hol up hol up hol up!!!! I didnt ask you all that!! So you movin for a chic??" I just said "Sigh".. No really I said "Sigh"... "Basically... yeah..." I said once again kind of embarrassed....
It is what it is folks... Yes she's
worth it...
