I steal a chance glance our eyes happen to meet and I shy away
through my peripheral vision I see her approaching and my mind stumbles trying to think of something to say
I act non chalant as she taps me on my shoulder and says "Do I remind you of something you like?"
I said "Why yes, still acting real cool, long walks on the beach candlelit dinners and relaxing with a loved one under the bright moon light."
She said "Ohhh that sounds real nice lets make it happen I can be free at the drop of a dime."
I said "Next Sunday there's a full moon Ill pick you up at 9 and you know ill be right on time.
She said "I hope so because if there is one thing I dont do is I really dont do late."
I said "Baby Im never late and to prove my point instead of 9 Ill be picking you up by 8.
She gives me a cute giggle "Here's my card call me im available 24/7 and even 7/24"
I said baby you sound like me if there was an 8th day Id be available then to now do I need I to say more?"
Another cute giggle "You're pretty slick with your tongue but your not the only one and next sunday Im going to let you show me"
I said Im "Im not from missouri the show me state but from the Golden state but next sunday it will be the get to know me state Ill show you a side of me no one has seen oh yes you are really going to get to know me....
